Sitemap Generator

The Sitemap Generator creates an XML sitemap from validated URLs. The output can be copied or downloaded as sitemap.xml and then placed in the root directory of your website.

XML sitemap from manual URL entries

A sitemap.xml helps search engines discover important public pages of a website. This tool does not crawl your website, does not fetch external URLs and does not perform automatic website analysis. The sitemap is generated only from manually entered and validated data.

For each URL, you can optionally add a last modified date, a change frequency and a priority. Duplicate entries are prevented and XML special characters are escaped for the generated output.

Security and notes

  • The Sitemap Generator creates XML only from validated input.
  • This tool does not crawl your website and does not fetch external URLs.
  • The generated sitemap.xml should be checked before production use.
  • Only publicly reachable pages should be included in a sitemap.
  • Pages marked with index should normally not be listed in the sitemap.
  • The file is usually placed in the root directory of the website, for example at /sitemap.xml.
  • After uploading, the sitemap should be checked in Google Search Console or a comparable tool.
