This password generator creates random passwords locally in the browser. Characters are generated with the browser's Web Crypto function and are not sent to the server.

Choose length, character set and number of passwords. The tool also shows pool size, estimated entropy and warnings for common pitfalls.

Longer random passwords are recommended for new accounts.

Usage notes

The tool generates passwords locally in the browser and does not transmit them to the server.
Use long, unique passwords for real accounts and store them in a password manager.
The entropy value is a theoretical estimate and does not check leaks or reuse.
Visual grouping with hyphens can make entry easier, but it changes the actual password.
